By purchasing a ticket and attending the Game and Geek Expo (“Event”), you (“Attendee”) agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Ticket Purchase and Entry:

Tickets are non-refundable, except as expressly stated in our refund policy.
Tickets are valid for the dates and times specified.

Attendees must present a valid ticket for entry.
Lost or stolen tickets will not be replaced.

The Event organizers reserve the right to refuse entry to any individual.

2. Code of Conduct:

Attendees must adhere to the Game and Geek Expo Code of Conduct, available at https://gameandgeekexpo.com/code-of-conduct/

Attendees are expected to treat all other attendees, vendors, staff, and volunteers with respect and courtesy.
Harassment, discrimination, or any form of abusive behavior will not be tolerated.

Violation of the Code of Conduct may result in ejection from the Event without refund.

3. Health and Safety:

Attendees are responsible for their own health and safety.

Attendees must comply with all health and safety guidelines provided by the Event organizers and the Raleigh Convention Center.

Attendees acknowledge that attending the Event is at their own risk.
Attendees must follow all instructions from Event staff and security personnel.

Attendees must follow all posted signage within the convention center.

4. Photography and Recording:

Photography and recording are permitted in public areas, but attendees must respect the privacy of others.

Obtain permission before photographing or recording individuals, especially cosplayers.
Commercial photography or recording may require prior authorization from Event organizers.

Do not block walkways or impede the flow of traffic while taking photos or videos.

5. Cosplay and Props:

Cosplay is encouraged, but all costumes must be appropriate for a family-friendly environment.
Props must be safe and non-functional. No real weapons or items that could be mistaken for weapons are allowed.

Prop weapons must be peace-bonded or inspected by security.
Be mindful of the size and maneuverability of your costume and props, especially in crowded areas.

6. Food and Beverage:

Food and beverage will be available for purchase at designated areas.
Outside food and beverages are not allowed.

Please dispose of trash properly in designated receptacles.

7. Prohibited Items:

Weapons of any kind, illegal substances, and other dangerous items are strictly prohibited.
Any items deemed unsafe or disruptive by Event staff or security personnel may be confiscated.

8. Liability and Release:

Attendees release the Game and Geek Expo organizers, its staff, volunteers, and the Raleigh Convention Center from any liability for personal injury, loss, or damage incurred during the Event.
Attendees are responsible for their personal belongings.

9. Event Changes and Cancellations:

The Event organizers reserve the right to change the schedule, guests, or activities without prior notice.
In the event of cancellation, refunds will be issued according to the Event’s refund policy.

10. Media and Photography:

Attendees may be photographed or recorded during the Event.
Attendees grant the Game and Geek Expo organizers the right to use these images or recordings for promotional purposes.

11. Amendments:

The Game and Geek Expo organizers reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time.
